Description The Canadian Cancer Society Awards for Excellence in Cancer Research recognize individuals who have made, and are making, valuable contributions to the cancer research ecosystem in Canada. Recipients are leaders in their fields who exemplify excellence in science and outstanding service to the scientific community. Winners will be recognized and receive a personalized glass plaque commemorating their award.  Candidates may be nominated for one award, plus the CCS Inclusive Excellence Prize. Candidates can also be nominated for the CCS Inclusive Excellence Prize alone. Canadian Cancer Society Inclusive Excellence Prize: The inaugural Inclusive Excellence Prize will be given to an individual who has demonstrated leadership in the advancement of equity, diversity and inclusion as it relates to the cancer research ecosystem in Canada.
