KABUL (Pajhwok): Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and former Foreign Minister Shah Mahmoud Qureshi on Tuesday sentenced to 10 years in jail in a cipher case, according to Pakistani media outlets reports.
It was not immediately clear if or when Khan would be released from jail because of the number of arrest warrants issued against him, Salman Safdar, one of Khan's lawyers who represented him in court, told after the hearing.
This week, Khan for the first time used artificial intelligence to deliver a speech to supporters. The surprise development could help his party to win the upcoming elections in February, according to analysts.
