Ariel Young, the 5-year-old injured in a car crash involving the son of Kansas City Chiefs Coach Andy Reid three days before Super Bowl LV, has awakened from a coma, her aunt announced Monday. Ariel is awake, Tiffany Verhulst wrote on the GoFundMe page on which the family has been sharing updates on Ariel s condition. The fund on the social fundraising platform designated for her medical expenses had collected more than $480,000 as of Tuesday morning. Verhulst offered no details on Ariel s condition.
