Stephanie Westfall of Atkinson received recognition as Achiever of the Month for April at Abilities Plus. One of the reasons she was nominated for this honor was because of her positive adjustment returning to the Work Services program after being at home for over a year. Stephanie works hard on goals, as well as any jobs she is given. She is also friendly and supportive of co-workers. In her free time Stephanie enjoys driving her golf cart, visiting by phone with friends, playing computer games and being a member of the 3 D Strong Cancer Survivor group. Congratulations, Stephanie!

TOPSHAM – Patricia Steffens Clark, 97, of Topsham and Center Ossipee N.H., died on April 25, 2021 in Topsham. Patricia was born in Farmington, Maine in 1923 to the late Richard and Dorothy (Buker) Steffens.
Pat graduated from Palmer (Massachusetts) High School and Wheaton College, Norton Mass. as a member of the class of 1945. Her college years coincided with those of World War II and she often shared memories of the impact the war had on her college experience – rationing, blackout shades, and transportation restrictions. After college, Pat moved to New Haven, Conn. where she worked as a claims adjuster for Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. It was in New Haven that she met her future husband, Cornelius E. Clark Jr., a law student at Yale. They married in 1948.
