Shelby native debuts in All Elite Wrestling
Shelby s own JD Drake, real name James Drake, recently made his debut on All Elite Wrestling s web show, AEW Dark.
Drake s debut, which can be watched on All Elite Wrestling s YouTube page, saw him square off against AEW wrestler Eddie Kingston, whom Drake has wrestled countless times at promotions all over the globe.
For nearly 10 minutes the two men exchanged heavy chops, punches and kicks. Kingston eventually won the match after Drake missed a flipping dive, opening himself up for a finishing blow. I couldn’t imagine anyone better to make my debut against, said Drake. When we got started there could have been a million people watching, and it wouldn’t have mattered. We were so intense and locked in, we had just an Eddie and Drake fight.
