TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) DJ Jones had 12 points to lead five Florida A&M players in double figures as the Rattlers beat North Carolina A&T 71-57 on Saturday.
Jalen Speer and Evins Desir added 11 points apiece for the Rattlers. Trejan Davis and Bryce Moragne chipped in 10 points each. Desir also had four assists, while Davis posted eight rebounds.
Florida A&M (5-8, 4-2 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) posted a season-high 20 assists. Meanwhile, the Aggies’ 28.8 field goal percentage represented the worst mark by a Florida A&M opponent this season.

ATLANTA Moses Wright scored 24 points, Michael Devoe had 15 points and tied his career-high with eight assists and Georgia Tech beat Florida A&M 74-64 on Friday night.
Bubba Parham hit three 3-pointers and finished with 13 points and Jose Alvarado scored 11 for Georgia Tech.
Alvarado and Devoe each hit a 3-pointer and Wright had two dunks in a 14-2 run to open the game and Georgia Tech (3-3) never trailed. Parham and Devoe hit back-to-back 3s to open the second half and give the Yellow Jackets their biggest lead of the game at 41-24. FAMU trimmed its deficit to five points on four occasions from there, the last when Jai Clark hit a 3-pointer with 3:57 to go. Khalid Moore answered with a 3 that sparked an 8-3 spurt, capped by a dunk by Wright that made it 72-62 with 33 seconds left.

THE FLATS. – Four players scoring in double figures powered Georgia Tech men’s basketball to a 74-64 victory over Florida A&M on Friday night at McCamish Pavilion.
The Yellow Jackets (3-3, 0-1 ACC) held the Rattlers (1-5, 0-0 MEAC) to just 43.6 percent shooting from the field. Tech was guided offensively by senior forward
Moses Wrights’ 24-points and seven rebounds. Junior guard
Michael Devoe scored 15 points, while dishing a season-high eight assists. Senior guards

Jose Alvarado put up 13- and 11-point performances, respectively, with Parham scooping up a season-best eight rebounds in the process.
Overall, the Yellow Jackets were 47.4 percent from the field, but scored 34 of their points in the paint and outrebounded the Rattlers 38-to-28.
