The Bolts are in need of points as they battle for home-ice in the playoffs. The Wings are done with their season in three more games. The Stars ended up winning, 2-1 in overtime, on their 52nd shot on net. It’s tough to come out and have a performance like this and not win, Bernier said.  Jamie Benn scored 32 seconds into the extra period after Filip Hronek turned over the puck. You get into overtime and it’s always bitter when you lose, especially when you give up a needless chance like that, coach Jeff Blashill said. We have to execute better in those situations.
