FOX 8 was present for Monday s proceedings, and reports that Lt. Jeffrey Greene of the Ohio State Highway Patrol testified about the crash. This is extremely tragic and the worst thing about it, was it was preventable, Greene said.
Shead was recently granted a furlough from police custody to attend her daughters wakes.
Greene alluded to the fact that the occupants were not wearing seatbelts, and alleged that Shead may have been inebriated, though police have not charged her with any crimes related to possible intoxication.

PORTAGE COUNTY, Ohio â The Ravenna School District is mourning the loss of two of its students who were killed in a fatal crash in Portage County Sunday afternoon.
Christine Shead, 12, and Evey Montecalvo, 12, died as a result of the crash, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Two other students in the district were injured in the crash.
âWe are deeply saddened to have lost people who were students, siblings, loved ones, and friends,â the district said.
Ravenna School District said it will be making counselors available to any student who wants to talk.

SHALERSVILLE TOWNSHIP, Ohio â Three people were killed in a single-vehicle crash that occurred in Portage County Sunday afternoon, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Around 3:33 p.m., troopers were called to the 8100 block of Peck Road in Shalersville Township for a report of a serious crash.
Once on scene, troopers found a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado off the east side of the road with severe damage after it struck a tree, troopers said.
There were eight occupants in the Silverado at the time of the crash, according to troopers.
Marlana Mullin, 22, Christine Shead, 12, and Evey Montecalvo, 12, died as a result of the crash while the other five were transported to nearby hospitals from the scene with serious injuries, troopers said.
