word with what i campaigned on for the past 18 months. i agree with you about the first. you wouldn t get the headline but you could still say look, bring that secretary of homeland security into the oval office. if you want a press event and say we ve had a meeting and i ve asked him to do the following things and we re moving forward on it. there is something about those magic words executive order that seems to imply boldness and decisiveness and requires the press to pay more attention to it. look, everything a president does is an executive action. an executive order may put it in writing but when the president calls up the secretary of defense and says i want a plan to defeat isis and i want it in 60 days. that has as much authority and power as the president putting that same thing in writing. the same with all of the things in the there is only one item in this executive order that i read that might have required an executive order to
him. they tend to be rather tone deaf when it comes to the appearance of conflict. he likes to go by the letter of the law so if it s legal for him to do something, he s going to do it and feel justified and profitable. the problem is, everything a president says and does, everything a member of his family says and does will be parts and interpreted by the world. he may attempt to keep his family in the process, but i think it s going to work against him when it comes to foreign powers and even perceptions here at home. michael dantonio, you know him so well. thank you for your insight. just ahead there will be half of them tomorrow. they say they dread the thought of talking politics over turkey
supportive of donald trump, but the radio show host just took a shot at him over ted cruz, and he said that trump s criticism of cruz is not something that a genuine conservative would do. and trump of course called cruz a maniac for his behavior in the senate. and rush limbaugh has spoken very supportively of ted cruz. and the thing about is the way that trump has gone after cruz call him a maniac and not working with people in the senate, the reason that the i m focusing on that, folks, cause that s so unlike trump. i mean, that s a huge mistake. even a jgenuine conservative in the field would not go after cruz in this way. and now, ahead of everything a ehead of the debate, we are joined by brett o donnell who is
stronger than he ever has. that s why you hear people say donald trump won t be the nominee. i think they re whistling past the graveyard. that s a look at the numbers. marco rubio at 9%. marco is what, 25, 26 points behind? jeb bush at three. none of these candidates are taking off. trump at 35, cruz at 16. if you re jeb bush right now, what are you thinking to yourself? you ve got an incredible infrastructure, name i.d., everything a candidate would hope to want and you can t capture whatever s happening right now in the republican primary? in some ways trump is the least of bush s worries. he has christie gaining on him. it s a crowded lain for the center right part of the republican party.
end. you know what i m talking about. this woman is trying to call patriarc key when everything she was saying was absolutely true. women look better in skinny jeans and boyfriend jeans look like they are wearing their boyfriend s jeans. why do we have to address everything a blogger says now? who gives a [bleep] what the lady thinks? for some reason oh that is outrageous. she sat there going what is a thing that could get people to then go yeah that is a thing. it is a dumb name, boyfriend jeans. it is a stupid name. everything has a stupid name. i love bloomin onions. i think they are delicious. every time i go to an out back steak house i hate saying it so much. i am not a shepherd from new zealand. why do i have to put an n apostrophe. why not a blooming onion?
