Mary Robinson’s former special adviser Bride Rosney has died at the age of 74. In a wide and varied career, Rosney worked as a science teacher, school principal and, later, as head of the RTÉ press office. She was an active campaigner on many issues and a leading member of the Teachers’ Union of Ireland.
