Dozens of prominent republicans have signed a legal brief that will submitted to the Supreme Court this week arguing that gay people have a constitutional right to marry, among them, signing whitman who supported prop 8 when she ran for governor, and top advisors to former president george w. Bush also signing. The brief could have potential to sway conservative justices when the Court Hears Arguments next month.
