A jealous ambulance service chief is facing jail for grappling with a naked love rival and slapping his estranged Thai wife after finding them in a hotel room together.
Mike Morgan, 55, attacked his wife, Rossalin, and her new lover, Neil Bannister, after becoming suspicious when he saw her car parked outside the Coniston Hotel, near Skipton, magistrates heard.
Morgan, who founded Event Medical Services - a private ambulance fleet which provided cover at the London Olympics – had already suspected that his partner of 15 years had met another man.
Rossalin, who is originally from Thailand, separated from her husband in June and he had moved out of the family home, said prosecutor Nadine Clough, adding that she believed Morgan had a new girlfriend.
