and i m not sure how much we need to worry about it. what is your assessment of the three network news organizations getting pounded in this suffolk university poll. 6% say they are the most trusted. abc 10%. those are awful numbers. why do you think the public has turned upon them. of my sense is network life has been changing for some time. i used to think networks were a local draw for the station us that carried their broadcast. enough to i think that s changed. i think people tune in whatever network news if they watch network news comes after their favorite local news shows. local news that drives the networks. i think people are not first of all, the networks don t do the amount of serious news that they used to. their reach has been diminished because they had to close bureaus all over the place and shrink news operations.
