Fortunately as you mentioned he only suffered a grazed wound. We are told he lives right on the block and neighbors immediately gave him medical aid, 911 was called and nine yearold boy was rushed to Childrens Hospital again with the gunshot wound to his head but were told there was only a grazed wound and that the nine yearold boy was alert and talking when he was rush to the hospital this afternoon. As far as what led up to the shooting and exactly who the suspect or suspects are, right now investigators still on the scene here trying to figure that stuff out but again around 3 20 this afternoon a nine yearold boy was walking home when he was shot in the head, and fortunately it was only a grazed wound and taken to chop where right now he is expected to be in good condition. Reporter Philadelphia Police dispatcher Michelle Lynn walk out of the hospital of the university of pennsylvania wednesday afternoon still shaken over a shooting that has left her husband edward in critical condition. Hes a fighter. Hes strong. Hes doing the best he can right now. Running around here with these guns and stuff it dont stop nothing for nobody. Reporter surveillance cameras were rolling just after two friday afternoon when three men exited the popular a and a deli in west philadelphia. They approached lynn, words were exchanged and one suspect through a punch then opened fire with a 9millimeter handgun. They just targeted him and gunned him down for no reason.
