“We are doing our best to maintain main and secondary roads clear while making passes on residential streets,” Cano says. “Once the intensity calms and provides opportunity, we will turn our focus to clearing residential areas.

Edgar Cano, who runs snow operations for Evanston’s Public Works Agency says the storm is likely to drop 3 to 3.5 inches on us between 6 p.m. and midnight Saturday, with another 2 to 3 inches by 7 a.m. Sunday.
Lake effect snowfall could add another 1 to 2 inches during the day Sunday, Cano says.
