A Chicago man identified as James Saye was charged with attempted kidnapping, aggravated fleeing and eluding after a woman flagged down Evanston police stating the man attempted to kidnap her Saturday. The woman, an Evanston resident, alerted an Evanston Police Department officer on duty in the area at about 9:45 a.m. on Saturday. She stated.
A Chicago man has been arrested and charged with felony attempted kidnapping and fleeing from police charges after he allegedly tried to abduct a woman off of an Evanston street on May 20.
