Chair Melissa Wynne, 3rd Ward, says it’s a great development, adaptive reuses.
Alderman Eleanor Revelle, 7th Ward, also praises the project.
Approved 6-0 for introduction.
It’s a ccreative use of an unused space in a changing neighborhood, Wynne says.

$160K additional funding from federal HOME funds.
Sarah Flax, housing and grants administrator, says the extra money is designed to assist people who are already in the tenant based rental assistance program who haven’t been able to reach self-sufficiency because of the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
