crisis in sudan. that s what really people want to remind the world about. they need urgent medical support. they need help to avoid a looming disaster in a region where that was already very fragile with insecurity and also conflicts in parts. max. stephanie, thank you. why aren t they bringing more aid in on the flights that are going in to bring people back out? they re not really thinking about the humanitarian aid. it doesn t sound at the moment as though the evacuation missions have been particularly well coordinated. of course, there are deep concerns on the ground, like we were hearing yesterday about the w.h.o. of sudanese being in control of a health laboratory in khartoum which they know has isolated polio, cholera and measles. flood warnings are posted at
americans, the 16,000 so americans are upwards of 19,000 americans who remain in sudan while they won t necessarily be able to rely on evacuation missions organized by the state department and white house, um there has been kind of an urging of many of those americans to reach out to french authorities or other allied nations who were doing similar. kind of evacuations that they might be able to. kind of piggyback, so to speak of their missions. yes i mean, the americans are part of this international effort that is ongoing. i think that that kind of coalition will start to come together, particularly as middle eastern countries get more and more involved. the jordanians have got special forces and some of their aircraft also going on. there were roads moves that have been planned that have been ongoing run by the emiratis. and others. these are these are countries with a bit more influence potential,

rockets, and if so, how far will those rockets, those weapons reach? our ear yan panel from inside ukraine tonight. reporter: tonight, the battle for the donbas raging as russian and ukrainian troops go toe to toe in the key city of sievierodonetsk. it s the last city still in ukrainian hands in luhansk, one half of donbas. today, the mayor saying russian troops control half of sievierodonetsk with heavy street fighting. it s thought as many as 13,000 civilians are trapped in the town. the shelling so intense that evacuation missions have stalled. we joined territorial defense forces digging in towards the front line in donbas. there are positions like this dug in all across this region in donbas. the russians now are only a few miles away from this position. as you can see, they ve dug into their trenches here. we re hearing the sound artillery outgoing. and this area is coming under
condition and living in deeply unsanitary situations. he urged the world to evacuate them so they could get the necessary medical aid. he also shared these photos of his injured comrades, many with amputated limbs. this as the group yesterday said the russian shelling continues unabated, adding that it doesn t stop. quote, not even for a moment. meanwhile, the governor of the donetsk region says over 100 civilians still remain trapped inside the battered plant even after a series of seemingly successful evacuation missions. over the weekend, ukrainian officials had said that all civilians from the mill had been evacuated. ukraine is now saying its forces are engaged in a fierce fight on snake island to drive out the russians. the ukrainian military says it is using drones and fighter jets in an attempt to drive out these russian forces. the military released the video you re watching now over the weekend of what it said was a strike on a russian helicopter.
