Travel Retail Norway Communications Manager Haakon Dagestad has been elected new Nordic Travel Retail Group Chairperson.
The Nordic Travel Retail Group (NTRG) has elected Travel Retail Norway Communications Manager Haakon Dagestad as its new Chairperson.
Dagestad, replaces Eva Rehnström, Sales and Purchasing Manager, Beauty & Fashion, Viking Line, who has been Chairperson
The election of the new Chairperson and board took place on 11 March 2021 during the groupâs first digital Annual General Meeting.
In her final report delivered at the Annual General Meeting Rehnström said: âIt is time for me to pass on the torch to the next NTRG chairperson to take NTRG to the next level. Even though the challenges for our business are vast, so are the opportunities.
M1nd-set: Nordic international travel will not recover until 2023
The Swiss research agency will deliver insights to members of the Nordic Travel Retail Group
M1nd-set is continuing its support for trade associations in by providing insights from its
Business Intelligence Service (
Nordic Travel Retail Group.
The announcement comes after the company signed similar agreements with
ASUTIL, the
ETRC and
IAADFS. The insights aim to help members of the associations navigate the challenges of rebuilding the industry following the pandemic.
Figures from the first report demonstrate the impact the pandemic has wrought on travel and travel retail in the region. Traveller numbers dropped 75% last year, which was one of the highest in the world, and recovery is expected to be staggered across two years.
