UCLA swim and dive (4-1, 2-1 Pac-12) fell to Arizona State (2-4, 1-1) on Friday by 50 points before heading further South to beat Arizona (1-2, 1-2) on Saturday by a mere five points.
The Bruins won 12 straight events. No. 23 UCLA swim and dive (2-0, 1-0 Pac-12) defeated UC Santa Barbara (1-1, 1-0 MPSF) on Friday at Spieker Aquatics Center by 64 points – its biggest win differential of the dual meet season – improving its all-time record against the Gauchos to 38-1.
The Bruins will spend their next two weekends at home. No. 23 UCLA (1-0, 1-0 Pac-12) will return to competition Friday to face off against UC Santa Barbara.
The Bruins have the opportunity to repeat history with a win this weekend. UCLA swim and dive will head to the Fresno State Invite in Fresno to compete in a two-day invitational.
