Green Party candidate for the local elections, Brendan Cahill-Flynn, has welcomed plans to expand the electric vehicle (EV) charging network across Ireland. Under the new measures, high-powered chargers will be installed at 60km intervals on the motorway network and there will also be home and apartment charging, destination charging and residential neighbourhood charging (including new mobility hubs).
