(CNN Philippines, January 25) After its mayor recently tested positive for COVID-19, the vice mayor of Bontoc, Mountain Province also confirmed on Monday that he was infected with the virus.
In his personal social media account, Vice Mayor Eusebio Kabluyen said he was informed by the Bontoc Municipal Health Office that the results of his swab test came out positive.
The vice mayor asked anyone who had close contact with him in the past 14 days to call the Bontoc Municipal Health Office hotline for contact tracing purposes and immediate self-quarantine.
He also requested them to immediately call their respective barangay health units should they experience any symptoms related to COVID-19.
