An international crew of four is launching this week to the International Space Station from Kennedy Space Center. Once on station, they’ll conduct more than 200 experiments during their six-month stay.
NASA’s Shane Kimbrough and Megan McArthur along with European Space Agency’s Thomas Pesquet and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency’s Akihiko Hoside will make up Crew-2, heading to the station Thursday on SpaceX’s Crew Dragon capsule.

Space Coast Office of Tourism Executive Director Peter Cranis said an estimated 220,000 people from outside the county came to Brevard for the first SpaceX Crew Dragon human spaceflight last May.
Unlike in the shuttle era, the Office of Tourism now can track visitor counts through a sophisticated method of using cellphone signals, and can determine how many of the phones in a particular area are from out of the county.

April 19 (UPI) NASA s Crew 2 payload is scheduled to carry several important science experiments to the International Space Station this week.
During a press briefing on Monday, investigators detailed several of the experiments slated to make the trip to ISS.

NASA has given SpaceX the green light to transport four astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS) next week after completing a formal Flight Readiness Review. Liftoff will take place as planned on April 22nd at 6:11 AM ET at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
The upcoming Crew Dragon launch notably marks a couple of firsts for Elon Musk s space venture. Not only is it the first crew flight using a recycled Falcon and Dragon craft, according to
, but it s also the first with two international partners. The Falcon 9 rocket features the same first stage that launched astronauts to the ISS back in November, while the capsule (named Endeavour) carried NASA s Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley to and from the space station last Spring.
