The Head of the European Union delegation to Nigeria and the Economic Community of West African States, Ambassador Ketil Karlsen, has pledged the commitment of EU countries to collaborate with Nigerian businesses and the government as trusted partners to bring about greater development.
This was made known in a press release by EuroCham. Karlsen who gave the assurance during the celebration of European Day by the European Business Chamber Nigeria said: “the European Union is a trusted partner not only in Nigeria but across the African continent and they are committed to end security threats across Nigeria and the regions to consolidate democracy gains”.

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has reiterated his administration’s commitment to continually partner and deepen relationship with international investors and developmental partners to harness the opportunity in skills acquisition, training and investments.
Governor Sanwo-Olu gave the assurance while receiving Management of the European Business Organisation (EBO) Nigeria led by its President, Mr. Adefolu Majekodunmi who paid him a courtesy call at Lagos House, Marina on Friday.
The Governor implored the European Business Organisation to support the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund, which is a deep intervention model to support and produce entrepreneurs in digital, agriculture, creative and construction industries.
