Martin peters, one of the all time greats of english football, and one of the goal scorers in the world cup winning side of 1966, has died at the age of 76. Peters won 67 caps for england, and made over 700 appearances for clubs throughout his career. West ham, the club he first joined as a 15 year old, said he passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with illness.
