This is one of my favourite parts of the exhibition, we are trying to challenge the idea that tattooing is gender or class specific. Its notjust people that are getting tattooed but also who was tattooing as well. Justine knight the tattooist was once the target in a circus sharp shooting act. Now shes at the business end of the target no more. In what was predominantly a mans world at the time, in as early as the 205, 305, 40s, but her art is so beautiful and it has a real feminine quality to it. So the Exhibition Finishes with 100 hands.
