Crowds sat in for a celebration of the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on his birthday; music and speeches echoed through the Adorni Center the foggy Monday morning. Speakers emphasized continuing the legacy of advancement of people of color through the upbringing of the next generation. A standing ovation followed a speech by 12-year-old Noel Braggs that urged resolving conflict through means of non-violence.
