When we think about Korean dramas, the first thing that comes to the mind of many would usually be the typical love triangle stories two men of completely different backgrounds fight over a simple-minded lady with dreams of success. If you’ve been in the loop and watched even more, you would probably associate these dramas to the typical conglomerate-inheritance stories with multiple wives, hidden children, and recurring amnesias that twist and turn the hurdles for a happy ending for hundreds of episodes at a time.
A new 10-part series called “Move To Heaven,” however, is a refreshing addition to the K-dramas you definitely need to watch. And here’s why you should. Don’t worry, no spoilers here.
GOT7’s Jinyoung may be acting alongside Kim Go Eun!
“Yumi’s Cells” is a drama based on a hit webtoon about an ordinary office worker named Yumi, told from the perspective of the brain cells in her head controlling her thoughts, feelings, and actions. Kim Go Eun is confirmed for the role of Yumi, and Ahn Bo Hyun is in talks to play her romantic interest Goo Woong. SHINee’s Minho will be making a special appearance in the drama.
On April 20, Sports Chosun reported that Jinyoung had been cast in the role of Yoo Babi, Yumi’s second boyfriend. According to the report, Jinyoung will act alongside Kim Go Eun in the second season of the drama.
Synopsis
The drama is a fierce sensibility melodrama. Cha Eun-dong, an upright citizen who has stood up against injustice. Coming from humble beginnings, she has also practiced patience. On January 28, BH Entertainment announced through an official press release that they had signed an exclusive contract with Jinyoung.
A source from the agency stated, “Through BH Entertainment’s system, we will provide both material and emotional support for Jinyoung’s diverse career as an actor and musician.”
