A collection of posters delivering various perspectives on human rights crises happening around the world, especially the Gaza Strip, began a months-long roving exhibition this week at Loft Ground in downtown Seoul.
June Hee Kwon, a Korean scholar teaching cultural anthropology at California State University Sacramento, gave a talk on Dec. 16 at downtown Seoul s Eulji Space on her new book, titled “Borderland Dreams: The Transnational Lives of Korean Chinese Workers,” published in English by Duke University Press in November.
A performing arts festival, titled Seoul Culture Club, is coming to downtown Seoul, featuring short performances by artists of diverse cultural backgrounds and languages who currently live in Korea.
