The modern-day 037 rides on 18-inch front and 19-inch rear wheels wrapped in wide Pirelli tires. Under the hood, the Kimera EVO37 is powered by a 2.1-liter four-cylinder engine like the original. However, the unit was redesigned by Claudio Lombardi, who built the engines of the original rally cars, and it was upgraded to produce more than 500 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque. That s all sent to the rear wheels through a manual transmission.
Production of the EVO37 will be restricted to, naturally, 37 examples, each costing €480,000 ($585,000). Before customer deliveries begin in September, the Kimera EVO37 will make its public debut at the 2021 Goodwood Festival of Speed in July.
