PITTSBURGH – Allegheny County’s Family Law Division has denied allegations made by one of its courtroom hearing officers that her anxiety disorder condition was not accommodated, in violation of state law.
PITTSBURGH – An Allegheny County court system hearing officer alleges that after disclosing her anxiety disorder to her superiors, she was not accommodated for that condition in violation of state law.

Judge Eugene Strassburger “did what was right always,” said Pennsylvania Supreme Court Chief Justice Max Baer.
“His writing was brilliant and his thinking was brilliant, and yet he was very much a man of the people,” Baer told the Chronicle. “He was a supporter of women, back when it wasn’t popular. Gene was a fierce supporter of them and a fierce supporter of the LGBT community.
“I hold him in the greatest regard,” Baer added. “I think I’m good at what I do, and Gene is part of the reason for that.”
