Child in car with drugs led to arrest of Lexington man, police say

The Dispatch A Lexington man was arrested after police said he had a 9-year-old in a vehicle containing illegal drugs.  Dexter Eugene Greene, 39, was pulled over for a traffic stop when officers discovered the drugs, said Lt. Chris Kirkwood with the Lexington Police Department. Police found around 4.5 grams of cocaine, 0.1 grams of heroin and 0.1 grams of methamphetamine in the vehicle, according to arrest documents.  The traffic stop occurred near a school, so Greene was also charged with a felony for having a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school.  Greene was arrested and charged with: Felony possession with the intent to sell or deliver cocaine
