CONCERNS have been raised after new plans for more than 30 homes in Carlisle have been submitted. Plans for 33 homes on land to the north-west of Stainton Gardens, in Stainton Road, Etterby, were submitted to Carlisle City Council in December. The planning application has raised concerns as the land is situated near to the Deer Park site where plans were recently refused. The application proposes the development of 33 number two, three and four-bedroom properties for Genesis Homes on land off Stainton Road. However, concerns have been raised about the impact this will have on residents in the area. Helen Davison, councillor for Kingmoor and Belah, has some initial worries about the plans.
