Energy Materials and Enertech International Come Together to Commercialize LFP Batteries for Electric Vehicles
South Korean companies that specialize in batteries are drawing attention as they have joined forces to develop LFP (lithium iron phosphate) for electric vehicles (EV). LFP battery is seen as a battery that is cost-effective and very safe. However, only very few companies South Korea currently manufacture such battery, and the battery has been only utilized for special purposes. But the level of interest towards the battery has grown as cost reduction has emerged as an important topic for companies related to EV and EV battery.
PeDiSem and Hanyang University to Start ‘HY Semiconductor Master Degree’ Program
A South Korean semiconductor education contents provider called PeDiSem will cooperate with Hanyang University and start a ‘HY Semiconductor Master Degree’ program. The program teaches job seekers and students and actual workers about semiconductor integration technology, latest processes, and application technology. Those who finish the program will be given a certificate in the name of the president of Hanyang University.
PeDiSem announced on Monday that it would start the program starting from this July.
The program was made by PeDiSem and Hanyang University in order to train talented individuals for the semiconductor industry.
