GOOBJOOG NEWS|MOGADISHU: The IGAD report clearing Kenya of wrongdoing is inaccurate and was ‘directed’ by Nairobi, Somalia has lamented subtly accusing ‘brotherly’ Djibouti of doing Kenya’s bidding.
Information Minister Osman Dube who has become the face of the ongoing row between the two countries fired back this morning dismissing the report as one-sided and heavily built on the Kenyan perspective.
In their report, [they say] Juma told us; they took their message one side, they refused to go to Somali territory. [But] they went to Kenya twice; they went to Mandera, we prepared for the people of Gedo they refused to cross the border,” Dube told journalists.
