LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) - As part of their ongoing virtual lecture series, Viterbo University welcomes an award-winning author and ecology professor to present an event called Coloring the Conservation Conversation .
J. Drew Lanham is a professor of wildlife ecology from Clemson University whose work has been recognized by the Southern Environmental Law Center.
The goal of the series is providing thought-provoking lectures and conversations for student and the community.
Lanham s focus is on his writings and observations of nature. Partly we want to inspire the next generation of environmental stewards and so it s important to keep the message out there of first of all, how does one fall in love with the land and then how does one live and carry out that responsibility and that s really what he speaks to, said Dr. Richard Kyte, Director of the D.B. Reinhart Institute at Viterbo University.
