Back in 2011 for withholding chemotherapy medication from her severely autistic son. Jeremy fraser diagnosed with a treatable form of cancer when he was six years old. Prosecutors say labrie failed to pick up her sons prescription and lie to doctors about giving her son those muchneeded drugs for his recovery. Jeremys cancer returned and he died at the age of nine. In march of a labrie did win a new trial on the single charge of attempted murder. She was released from prison plead guilty. Time to move on. She has taken responsibility. She is not the same person she was when this all happened. This case was always about one thing, jeremy. Justice has been served today. Reid kristin labrie will remain on a fiveyear probation for a second charge of Reckless Endangerment to a child. Her Attorney Says labrie did receive a degree while in prison lepage saying today he will not resign but plans instead to seek spiritual guidance.
