The Kansas Jayhawks fell to the Missouri Tigers at Hoglund Ballpark on Tuesday night in 10 innings by a score of 5-4. Kansas came back and tied the game in the bottom of the eighth inning, but Missouri scored two in the top of the 10th and the Jayhawks were only able to score one in the bottom half of the inning.
The Kansas offense produced its first double-digit scoring game of the season as the Jayhawks defeated Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 13-7 on Tuesday night at Whataburger Field.
Kansas will kick off the 2024 season and the 134th season of baseball at the University of Kansas on Friday when it opens a three-game series against Illinois-Chicago at Whataburger Field. Head Coach Dan Fitzgerald will be entering his second year at the helm of the program.
