Good evening. After some of the worst flooding in recent years, residents in parts of Northern England and the midlands are still being rescued from areas inundated with water. Some roads remain impassable and Train Services have been affected throughout the day. There are seven severe flood warnings still in place, meaning a threat to life, on the river don in south yorkshire, which burst its banks. One of the places worst hit is the village of fishlake, where all day rescue teams have been helping evacuate people from their flooded homes. Heres fiona trott. The village residents are leaving behind. The roads in fishlake are like rivers tonight, unless you have a boat the only way to travel is by tractor. At times like these, the local farmers are happy to help out. Its how emergency supplies have been reaching residents, all of them alarmed by how quickly it happened.
