DeKALB – Just as the Student Government Association elections came to a close, a coalition of four SGA candidates received a sanction as a result of a mass-email campaign on behalf of their ticket. An email was sent by student trustee candidate Tim Moore, who advised students to vote on behalf of the NIUnited ticket.
DeKALB – Following its recent elections, the Student Government Association has announced its plans to prepare a special election due to a lack of senators elected to the senate. While the elections did result in 11 senators being elected to the senate, there are currently not enough overall to make a full senate of 30.
