SHA drive-through and walk-in clinics continuing this week

(Joseph Ho/980 CJME file photo) Drive-through and walk-in COVID-19 immunization clinics are to operate in communities across Saskatchewan on Wednesday and throughout the week. The clinics are open to everyone 37 and over or frontline workers such as teachers, firefighters, corrections officers and border security officials. Those individuals must present a letter of eligibility. The drive-through at Regina’s Evraz Place is to be open Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., each day. There also are walk-in clinics in the Queen City set for Friday (9 a.m. to 4 p.m., South Leisure Centre) and Saturday (9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Core Ritchie Neighbourhood Centre).

Drive-through, walk-in vaccination clinics continue this week in Sask

The drive-through vaccination clinic at Evraz Place. (980 CJME file photo) The drive-through COVID-19 vaccination clinic at Regina’s Evraz Place was up and running again Monday. The clinic, which closed April 16 after exhausting its supply of vaccine, reopened Sunday. On Monday, it continued serving people aged 40 and over and prioritized frontline workers who had letters proving they were eligible to receive their shots. The drive-through is working on a first-come, first-served basis. In a post on its website Sunday, the Saskatchewan Health Authority said the drive-through was to be open Sunday and then again on Friday and Saturday. It’s unclear how the decision to open Monday will affect next weekend’s schedule.
