(Photo courtesy of PA) MANILA-Philippine Army (PA) athletes continue to contribute to the country's medal haul in the ongoing 31st Southeast Asian Games (SEAG) in Hanoi, Vietnam as female Army wrestler bagged the bronze medal in one of the Kurush events on May 16. Staff Sgt. Estie Gay Liwanen finished the event and won the third spot in the Kurash Women 57-kilograms event. "Kurash is a form of uptight jacket wrestling that is native to the Central Asian country of Uzbekistan," PA spokesperson Col. Xerxes Trinidad said in a statement Tuesday. A total of 21 PA athletes are part of the Team Philippines that is competing in the 31st SEAG.
