As the weather heats up, the Ontario SPCA Lennox & Addington Animal Centre in Napanee has kicked off its Sweat for Pets virtual fundraiser to inspire people of all ages to set their own personal fitness challenge while raising funds in support of vulnerable animals.
Whether you have a furry family member at home or just want to get moving after a long winter, it’s time to get active to help animals.

The five-week Sweat for Pets campaign kicked off May 25 and inspires participants to get active while raising funds in support of vulnerable animals in the community.

Ontario SPCA Lennox and Addington Animal Centre has officially kicked off their “Sweat For Pets” virtual fundraiser today.
This is a five week initiative that is designed to get everyone in the family moving!
Participants are encouraged to come up with a fitness goal, or just get active by going on more walks or bike rides. Donations are also encouraged to help your local Ontario SPCA centre.
“By participating in Sweat for Pets, you’re not only raising critical funds to give animals a second chance, but you’re also doing something good for yourself by getting active and setting personal goals. No matter how you decide to Sweat for Pets, it will have a big impact for vulnerable animals,” said Esther McCutheon, Centre Manager, Lennox & Addington Animal Centre.
