Annual event: The Great Cumbrian Litter Pick 2021 is set to go ahead this year in May There is unanimous agreement between Cumbrians through-out the county that littering MUST stop. With rubbish left on the paths and peaks of beloved fells, in the rivers, lakes and verges of residents and roads, a number of initiatives and schemes put forward by councils and charities help clean up certain areas. However, there is no other greater opportunity for people to clean up the whole region than to join the annual Great Cumbria Litter Pick, where communities can come together to create a natural and healthier environment.
