Richard Dale Freeland passed away Friday, November 17, 2023, at his home in Longs, SC. Son of Marcus and Esther Freeland, Richard was one of nine children, one of whom died in infancy. He is survived by his wife Sandra of Longs, daughters Bethany Freeland of Ypsilanti, MI, and Paige Freeland, Northville, MI; and granddaughter, Lauren Ephriam of Seattle, WA. He is also survived by his sister, Jane Hill, of Bremerton, WA. He was 83 years old.
