Money Heist is all set to come to an end in two installments of five episodes each, reported The Hollywood Reporter. The first volume of the series finale will release on September 3 while the second part drops on December 3 this year, according to an announcement that was launched with a teaser on Monday.
So far, there have been four Parts to the show. The first and second part of the crime drama was released in 2017, while the third and fourth installment dropped in 2019-2020.
Money Heist Part Five will be released in two instalments of five episodes each. The first volume will be released on September 3 while volume two will be dropping on December 3.
On the decision to split Part Five into two volumes, show creator Álex Pina said, When we began to write Part 5 in the midst of the pandemic, we felt that we had to change what was expected from the ten-episode season and used every tool we could to create the sensation of a season finale or series finale in the first volume itself .
