This is in the area of east st. John street and 17th streets. The fire broke out around 4 30 this morning. This is a picture from the San Jose Fire Department. As of right now there are no injuries reported and fire officials are still working to contain the fire. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. No word yet on if this mornings fire is related to a string of fires in san jose. In the last three days there have been approximately 7 fires within a 2 mile radius east of downtown san jose. A nearby Drywall Company was hit early thursday morning just down the street, a home also set on fire friday. the owner of the drywall happened.
