And so as the year 2000 neared, the entire world held its breath. But the year came and went with a sun rising and setting promptly, alternated by a moon remaining content in its usual space in the dark sky.
So some who had been keeping close tabs on prophecies altogether dumped all interest on any prognostication, determined this time to live on with a little more abandon without concern for doomsday conversion.
Somewhat like the scenario in the pre-destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, it would seem that the prophesied tribulations are so great that Heaven has been extending timelines, so that chance for conversion of those lost is given maximum room.

+ March 09, 2021 SINCE Ash Wednesday, many churches still fill up at least in Pampanga, at times even daringly in excess of government impositions against the coronavirus pandemic. A sign that many Filipinos have kept faith through these times of privation and fear?
On the other side, however, is the greater number of those outside the fold of the faithful and are continually being addressed by Our Lord Jesus Christ and the Blessed Mother in their apparitions.
Way back in the 1940s, Jesus Christ had told mystic Maria Valtorta of a situation that clearly refers to our times.
The exact date was April 9, 1944 when Jesus said:
