The ruling party in West Bengal will hope that Yusuf Pathan, who was known for his explosive batting, can help it breach the Baharampur seat the Congress leader has held since 1999.

Expressing disappointment into the issue, the BJP in its letter to CEO Ariz Aftab, stated that despite assurances from the poll panel, the list still includes false/duplicate names.
The PM is scheduled to arrive on Friday afternoon and address a public meeting in Arambagh in Hooghly district. He will also lay a foundation stone and inaugurate various projects in the area, the party said.
