The Town of Essex and Village of Essex Junction have announced revisions to access for municipal services through at least April 30, 2021 in response to Gov. Scott’s extension of the State of Emergency and guidance from the Vermont Department of Health. Anyone who visits and enters a municipal building must wear a mask and gloves, and staff will also be asking screening questions before allowing people inside. Clerk The clerk’s office is allowing one person at a time to enter the building at 81 Main Street for the purposes of title searches and marriage licenses. Business hours for the clerk’s office are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Curbside service is not available at this time.
